A native of New York City, David Nadal is a performer on 
both the classical and electric guitar. His solo and chamber 
performance credits include appearances at the
Other Minds Festival 
in San Francisco, the New York Guitar Festival, the Guitar Foundation of America  
Convention and the Kitchen. An avid scholar of the classical guitar, 
David has published nine volumes of his own transcriptions 
and arrangements with Dover Publications

An active chamber musician, David is currently working with the Zvi Migdal Tango  
Ensemble, the Code Ensemble and Ursula's End, an ensemble performing new 
arrangements of medieval vocal music with live electronics and looping. 
Past ensemble endeavors have included collaborations with the electro-acoustic
band, Slow Six and the Sap Dream Electric Guitar Quartet. 

He has taught and lectured at Brooklyn College,
the Julliard School's Pre-College Division and the Choir Academy of
Harlem. Currently, David is on the faculty at LaGuardia
Community College (CUNY).  David has earned degrees in classical 
guitar performance from the School of Music at Yale University and 
Manhattan School of Music. He lives in Elmhurst, Queens, New York where 
he also maintains an active guitar studio.
