David Nadal performs as a solo classical guitarist and in popular and new music settings on the electric guitar. His repertoire is wide-ranging, encompassing early, contemporary, improvised, and experimental music. David is an avid scholar and lecturer on the history and future of the guitar and has licensed several volumes of arrangements to Dover Publications. He is most proud of his edition of the complete Lute Songs of John Dowland (1563-1626). The collection has become an important source for this incredible repertoire and is used throughout the world.
He earned a graduate degree from the School of Music at Yale University and an undergraduate degree from Manhattan School of Music. David maintains a private teaching studio in New York City and is currently studying composition privately.
